Complete the Purchase & Transfer Funds
Once you have selected your property, the purchase process begins. The qualifying investment amount must be paid entirely using your own funds, as mortgages and financing are not accepted. You will need to provide proof of funds, including bank statements and transaction receipts, showing the source and transfer of the investment.

Finalize Legal Documentation
After the purchase is completed, the legal documents are prepared and registered. This includes the signed property purchase contract and registration certificate from the Greek Land Registry, confirming ownership and supporting your Golden Visa application.

Submit Your Golden Visa Application
Your application and supporting documents are submitted to the authorities. Following submission, a temporary residence permit, often referred to as the "blue paper," is typically issued within approximately 40 days, allowing you to legally remain in Greece while the full 5-year residence permit is processed.
